On April 18–19, 2026, departments will once again welcome neighbors, families, and future firefighters for station tours, live demonstrations, gear try-ons, and more — all designed to spark interest and grow volunteer membership.

Your participation makes a real difference. With most of New York’s fire service powered by volunteers, RecruitNY is one of the most important opportunities of the year to strengthen your ranks and connect with your community.
